Aurea began in 2014, when two former expedition guides started planning trips for friends who wanted the depth of a guided journey without the group.
Today each of our specialists focuses on a handful of regions they know personally. Every lodge we recommend has been visited by someone on the team, and every guide is someone we have travelled with.
We stay small on purpose. It means the person who designs your journey is the same person you call while you’re away.
